Adjacent to Downtown Disney you can find the Disneyland Hotel.

Other than being an excellent hotel to stay at while visiting the area, it is also an entertainment destination.

Watch the Koi Fish in their ponds, go around and under the waterfalls, pilot remote controlled boats, have buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, play video games at the arcade.

The hotel residents can enjoy the huge Neverland pool or 2 additional pools and a beach!

Goofy's Kitchen: Enjoy a delicious meal with Goofy and friends. Expect a visit from Disney characters to each table and make sure the Camera is handy. Some of the buffet choices are Mickey Mouse shaped waffles, Omelet made to order, Peanut butter & jelly pizza!

Disneyland opened its doors to the public on July 18, 1955. Since then over 500 million people visited the park from all over the world. It is considered the most visited park in the world, second only to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. If you really want to know the history, go to Wikipedia. The park is very large. It sits on 85 acres of land with 60 attractions in 7 themed lands. So it is very easy to get overwhelmed by all that it can offer.

The park is usually open from 10 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 12 Midnight on weekends and holidays (times can vary).
